This is a spectacular full day round trip which encompasses ten of Cumbria's finest lakes. It begins by driving past the Langdale Pikes, over the spectacular high and rugged passes of Wrynose and Hardknott to Eskdale. Next we enter into Wasdale which is the home of England's deepest lake, highest mountain and smallest church, not forgetting the legendary Will Ritson, said to be the original World's Biggest Liar !
We continue north to Ennerdale, Crummock and Loweswater returning past Derwent Water, Bassenthwaite Lake, Thirlmere, Grasmere, Rydal Water and Lake Windermere.
This trip is a whirlwind introduction to the vast, expansive beauty that Lakeland has to offer. A truly momentous day out.
